Youtube - Town & Country Plant Hire UK
We are a well-established and reputable local company offering building services from the ground to the roof and plant hire (diggers, dumpers, hydraulic breakers / peckers, hydraulic post knocker / driver mobile concrete crushing bucket, mobile soil screening bucket, flail mower / mulcher, Auger post hole borer etc).
Our soil screener is an attachment that goes onto our 3 tonne digger.
A level bucket of soil is scooped up ready for screening.
Being attached to the digger gives you greater mobility to put the finished product where you require.
The screener is operated by hydraulics from inside the digger.
You then simply start the screening by pressing a button which rotates the polyurethane stars that act in a rotary manner to separate the soil.
During screening the good usable top soil will fall through and heap into a pile whilst the excess stone, roots etc will remain in the bucket.
This can then be tipped out of the bucket so you are ready to go again.
It can screen approximately 15-20 tonnes per hour depending on time of year and condition of soil.
Our soil screener is available for hire with our 3 tonne Takeuchi excavator and comes with a fully insured trained operator.
