Description
I bought this Yves Saint Laurent trench circa 1989-1991 in Binns South Shields.
Binns department stores at that time were very prestigious - alas, all gone now.
The trench is SO stylish, with lots of special features. Double breasted, shoulder epaulets, adjustable straps at cuffs, back vent, pockets with buttoned storm flaps and two spare buttons.
Measurements as best as I could manage:
Length from back nape is 48 inches, 122 cms
Width all round underarm is 52 inches, 138 cms
Sleeves from underarm are 19 inches, 48.5 cms - of course underarm on a trench will start lower than a jumper.
Although this is vintage, it’s such a timeless classic.
It has only been worn five or six times over the years and is an absolute bargain!
