VibroFit 3D pivotal and horizontal Vibroplate. Comes with box
Verwood, Dorset
£225
Description
Purchased for my mum, but she never used it, and it was stored in the wardrobe hence rehoming. Currently selling for £379, as it's not your basic vibroplate. Can try before you decide!
The VibroFit 3D offers both Pivotal and Horizontal Vibration. A study published in the Journal of Physical Therapy Science has shown the horizontal vibration improves balance and fear of falling in elderly individuals. Horizontal Vibration is also used in hospitals and fitness centres to help elderly improve lower body strength and balance, including Hemiplegic patients (paralysis on one side of the body).
Due to the accompanying weight loss effects of vibration training, common diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular illnesses in the elderly may be improved through prolonged use as well. Vibration technology is a century-old scientific application in health and wellness.
First utilised by the Russian Space Program and later popularised by NASA, Whole Body Vibration (WBV) is what enables Astronauts to negate bone and muscle loss in zero-gravity environments to remain space-bound for extended periods of time.
