Now one left for sale.
£995.
Ex demo model - we used to sell e-bikes in our coffee shop in central London but now are purely a coffee shop, so we have these for sale.
They are almost unused - just test ridden.
Pick up from North London - NW11 - near Golders Green.
Retail price - £2033 - so this bike is a bargain.
A 250w Bafang motor located in the bike's rear wheel is powered by a Samsung battery neatly hidden away in the seatpost of the bike and has an easy USB charging point just below the saddle.
The seatpost/battery is removable too so you can charge the battery away from the bike. Carbo quote a 3.5 hour recharge time for the battery. On the handlebar is a low profile screen which displays riding speed, distance and allows you to cycle through the e-bike's 5 power modes.
The Model X is super light - weighing in at just 13.3kg, the bike is easily lifted into a bike store, garage, communal hallway or up some stairs. The bike's weight is predominately due to the carbon fibre used in the bike's construction.
The Model X has integrated front and rear lights, whilst mudguards and a rear luggage rack are available too.
The Carbo Model X Folding Electric bike uses a carbon belt and a set of hydraulic disc brakes and Schwalbe 20" tyres.
The Model X will fold in as little as 10 seconds. Just push the seatpost down, fold the handlebar, pull the latch on the frame and it's done. Folded, the bike's dimensions are 80cm x 60cm x 33cm.
