Description
Solid Wood Drawer Chest
Antique 1930s, with large mirror, glass top (removable) and castor feet
This lovely 3 drawer chest has been in our family for three generations but unfortunately there is no longer a need for us. What we know from my grand parents are that this was bought before the second world war and has been passed on to our parents and now us. Everything is in its original state. The glass top was replaced in 2016 by a local glass merchant, made to size.
The drawers are functional and quite spacious. The slide in/out nicely. The mirror and the mirror post are removable (fixed to the chest by several screws).
Overall dimensions of the chest (as accurate as I can be) are:
Height (to the top surface): 81cm
Height (to the top of the mirror): 164cm
Width: 160.5cm
Depth: 46.5cm
Please take a look at the photo for the detailed measurements. Viewing is very welcome to check the condition & measurements by yourself.
Collection from New Alresford and cash payment preferred, but happy to discuss options. Large vehicle required for transport (mirror can be removed) - family / estate car with ear seats down or van / pickup van. Please bring some towels, removal blankets for some protection.
Alternatively, I may be able to deliver locally within ~20min drive radius from New Alresford (e.g. Winchester, Basingstoke, Alton, Bishop's Waltham, Petersfield). I have a small trailer so I may be able to arrange local delivery on a weekend / evening. Please visit us and have a look first so that you are certain it is what you are looking for and to avoid disappointment for both you and us.
Please do not hesitate to contact me anytime if there are any questions or you would like more information.
Thank you for looking.
