Antique Vintage Ercol Golden Dawn Elm Wood Welsh Dresser

Description

A stunning Old Colonial antique/vintage Ercol Welsh dresser featuring an upper shelving rack above a base cabinet and table top.

The upper part features two large shelves with a carved wood border. The top shelf has a row of hooks underneath making it ideal for hanging keys or decorative display pieces.

The lower cabinet has two pull-out panelled cupboard doors with a wooden slide-lock. Above the doors are two large pull-out drawers offering ample additional storage.

The upper and lower sections can be separated. They are securely held in place by two large screws but also have two wooden inserts which keeps it together even when not screwed in. For such a large piece of furniture it slots together remarkably easily.

Both parts are structurally strong and solid. There are some marks on the table top and what appears to be a couple of water marks on the left-hand cupboard door. Other than that there's just some minor general signs of age in places.
