Description
I have for sale new traditional double-glazed sash windows. I can organise delivery and installation with a CERTASS certificate in London. For outside of London, it will depend on distance.
Solid pine wood. Great quality construction. Thicker than standard.
Draft-proofed with double seals around each wing.
Operate traditionally on weights.
Ventilated.
With chrome finish ironmongery and locks with key.
Window frame thickness 180mm
They all have special, upgraded glazing to reduce the noise inside the property. To explain, the standard double-glazed windows are size 4/16/4, soundproofing 32dB; window glass thickness 22mm. An upgraded soundproofing option is 6/14/4 and 34dB. Window glass thickness 24mm.
To understand the difference in dB: an increase by 1dB reduces noise by half.
