Mid-Century Teak Dining Set Vintage Extending Table & 4 Upholstered Chairs Retro

This is a fantastic dining set with a great mid-century look, ideal for any dining room setting - it is ready for use. It is finished in teak with a great colour and grain throughout. The table frame and chair bases have an unusual, attractive shape, adding to their style - similar sets have been attributed to the brands Vanson or Portwood, however this set is slightly different and as such we have been unable to find the maker. This set sits 6 in standard form, with one person sat on either end to go with the two either side as in the pictures, however the table extends with a fold out leaf stored under the table, so there is space for up to 8, although the sides may be a squeeze. The upholstery on the seats is covered in a pink material; however, this is a little tired/dated so they may be best reupholstered in a chosen fabric. There are some age-related marks and light scratches throughout the table and the chairs, however nothing major. The leaves are a slightly different colour, as they always are, as they have likely seen very little use. Approximate measurements for the table are 28 1/4" (72cm) tall, 54 7/8" (139.5cm) long not extended, 72 3/4" (185cm) long extended & 35 1/8" (89.25cm) wide. Approximate measurement for the chairs are 31 1/2" (80cm) tall, 18 3/4" (47.5cm) wide and 20" (51cm) deep, with a seat height of 18 1/4" (46.5cm) and seat depth of 17 1/4" (44cm).
