Wedgwood glass bird (2 LOCATIONS)

Description

This lovely glass bird is produced by the renowned Wedgwood factory. It was made as a paperweight but doubles as a beautiful ornament.

This particular piece is vintage pattern number RSW70 (later became SG70) from the 1970s collection. It is part of the animals and plants range designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson. It is made of clear glass with details highlighting the eyes and tail. It has the makers mark/stamp to the base (pic no 5). It is 4.75 inches/9.5cm in height and heavy/sturdy.

Similar examples can be seen for sale for between £18 up to almost £60. Obviously, you would need to be sure that any alternative was a genuine Wedgwood piece.

This would make an attractive addition to any mantlepiece or display unit as part of a collection or appreciated by any lover of fine glass items. It would make a wonderful present - for self or others.

It is in immaculate/mint pre-owned condition. From a smoke free house. Buyer must collect from Chepstow, Monmouthshire or Brixham or Totnes, Devon at an agreed time. Alternatively, I am happy to package and post for the associated costs. Needs to go asap.
