Nadal porcelain ornament (COLLECTIBLE)

Description

This lovely china ornament is from the maker Nadal who has been producing handcrafted porcelain in Spain since 1915. Today the factory is run by Don Enrique Asuncion Gabriel who is the grandson of the founder. Their style is similar to that of Lladro who are situated close by and capture moments of daily life and reproduce them with pure emotion and love.

This particular example depicts a young girl kneeling and fondly cradling her pink Teddy bear. The expression on her face is reproduced beautifully and the details such as her blue shoes, hands and pony tail evoke feelings in the beholder of being with her. The piece has the stamp of the Nadal workshop on the base (pic no 6).

She would make an attractive addition to the mantlepiece or display shelf of any collector or anyone who appreciates a quality item. She would also make the perfect present - for self or others.

Similar models can be seen for sale from £18 for the smaller size up to over £100 for the more unusual, more collectible/rare bigger examples.

She is in immaculate/mint pre-owned condition. From a smoke free house. Buyer must collect from Chepstow, Monmouthshire or Brixham or Totnes, Devon at an agreed time. Alternatively, I am happy to package and post for the associated costs. Needs to go asap.
