Hugh Mackay Safari Collection Leopard Axminster Wool Carpet Remnant Rug
Leith, Edinburgh
£140
Description
For sale a brand new, unused carpet remnant of the Hugh Mackay Safari Collection Axminster Wool Carpet in the Leopard design.
We bought a roll of this carpet for our small hallway but there’s a minimum size you have to buy, so we have a piece left over.
This would be ideal to carpet a small area or you could have the edges whipped by Edinburgh Carpet Whipping and use it as a rug.
The approximate size is 177cm x 178cm, which is just over 3 square metres.
On the 178cm side there is a cut around 27cm from the edge that is around 26cm in length. The carpet fitter must have cut here in error. You can see this on the back, but when turned over it is invisible. Please see the final two photos for the slit from the back then from the front.
This is a luxury carpet that we paid £65 per square metre for. So for this piece it would cost around £205 to buy. We are selling for £140, so grab yourself a bargain! 😎
Hugh Mackay gives the following information on it…
The Safari range is our most extravagant range and certainly stands out from the crowd! This range is a stunning style statement that is perfect for anyone wanting to inject some personality into their space. This heavy domestic quality Axminister carpet is suitable for both heavy domestic and heavy commercial use.
Created using the highest quality of wool, this range will help insulate your space & trap dust until it is vacuumed, making it a hypoallergenic carpet, see our Advice section for more on the benefits of wool.
