PEUGEOT Vintage Steel Road Bike Large Dual Brakes SERVICED

Fully serviced rust free Vintage Steel Road Bike.

Has dual brake levers so can be ridden like a Hybrid or head down in a strong wind.

This is an unusual sale that I do not usual do.
The bike came to me with some excellent parts on it. Too good for the frame. So I have converted it to a 5 Speed with a luggage rack on the back. My aim; To make this bike un-stealable. Which it passed with flying colours. I left this outside Norwood Junction station for 8 days whilst I was cycling in Spain & France, yet when I came back, it was still there.😁

Not sure if it is a Peugeot, as the previous owner painted it with a gloss brush paintbrush. It's weather tight, but blobby.
Could be a Falcon, Elswick, Raleigh who knows?

It's not super light, as my other bikes, but thankfully half the weight of a Boris Bike (probably more). It's European vintage reliable, has good bearings, new bottom bracket, headset, newer aluminium wheels than original. Rust free, and rolls really well. This is still lighter than any cheap hybrid from Halfords/Argos.
Way quicker than a Boris bike, and will happily overtake a Lime bike in a good wind.
Large frame would suit someone around 6ft.

All listings have been test ridden. Each bike has been fully stripped down and given a complete overhaul. Each and every part is cleaned, tested and if it needs to, replaced. No bike leaves the workshop unless it has had this process. As a used bicycle, expect some signs of usage.
