Description

A genuine, made-in-Holland Onderwater Family Tandem XL — the “stretch limo” of family cargo bikes. This from the well-known Dutch tandem maker. Built to carry the whole family and turns heads everywhere it goes.

It is designed so that an adult steers from the back while up to two children sit up front, getting a fantastic view and safely contributing to the pedal power.

• Full-length steel frame with 3 saddles: 2 front child seats, one with pedals.

• Rear-wheel disc brake and sprung adult saddle for a comfortable ride.

• Sturdy rear rack fitted with a pannier basket — great for shopping or school bags

• Adjustable seat/pedal positions to fit growing kids.

• Well maintained, all gears and front brake working smoothly.

Condition:

The bike is fitted with a front hub motor. It was previously run as an e-bike, but we removed the wiring loom and its currently being sold as a standard bike but could potentially be re-wired with a new kit if you are handy with e-bike conversions.

Frame: There is a cosmetic/minor crack located on the rear frame near the seat stay cluster. The frame remains completely rigid, and perfectly rideable as you can see in the video, but it is priced lower to account for this.

Brakes: The front brake functions properly. The rear brake is needs adjustment/cable tightening.

New price: These retail from around £2,300–£4,500+ depending on spec, so this is a big saving. We don’t have room for it anymore.
