Welcome to Lumen Support Ltd.
We specialise in providing affordable and friendly online dyslexia assessments across the UK. We also offer assessments for other Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) such as dyscalculia from age 7, and characteristics of dyspraxia and ADHD from age 16.
A diagnostic assessment can help to identify areas of strength as well as difficulty. We can provide a comprehensive plan of support, tailored to your needs, which will help you access support. Payment plans are also available to help spread the cost of the assessment. The standard cost of our diagnostic assessments are £375, although discounts may sometimes be available. Barnaby Matley founded Lumen Support Ltd in 2023. He started the company with a clear aim: to provide high quality, affordable testing for Specific Learning Differences, to whoever may need it.
Barnaby is a Specialist Teacher Assessor, and has over 10 years experience in providing online assessments for dyslexia and dyscalculia (from age 7), and characteristics of dyspraxia and ADHD (from age 16). He is a member of the Dyslexia Guild and PATOSS, and holds a current Assessment Practising Certificate, which means that he is certified to conduct diagnostic assessments for specific learning differences such as dyslexia. He also holds a current DBS certificate with the Update Service.
Barnaby's diagnostic assessments are professional and friendly. There is no pressure, and no right or wrong answers. He works hard to put students at their ease during the session, as he knows that it can be a little daunting.
