Job Title: SC Cleared FPGA Engineer (Contract - 6 Months)
Location: Malvern
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: up to £600 per day via an approved umbrella company
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VHDL development and hands-on experience with Xilinx technologies, particularly Zynq SoCs and RFSoCs. This role involves working on bespoke FPGA designs and integrating complex systems using industry-standard tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test FPGA solutions using VHDL.
Implement and optimize designs for Xilinx FPGAs including Zynq SoC and RFSoC platforms.
Utilize Xilinx Vivado for synthesis, implementation, and debugging.
Perform simulation and verification using Aldec tools (or equivalent such as ModelSim/QuestaSim).
Integrate PetalLinux on Zynq or RFSoC platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system-level integration and performance.Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience with bespoke VHDL development.
Strong knowledge of Xilinx FPGA architecture.
Hands-on experience with Zynq SoC processors.
Proficiency in Xilinx Vivado toolchain.
Familiarity with Aldec simulation tools (ModelSim or QuestaSim experience acceptable).
Experience with RFSoC platforms.
Working knowledge of PetalLinux on Zynq or RFSoC.Desirable Skills:
Experience with Xilinx VITIS and SDK.
Background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
Familiarity with MATLAB for algorithm development or simulation.What We Offer:
