Description

Electro‑Mechanical Assembly Technician

Join a growing engineering team where you'll play a key hands‑on role in building and supporting a range of bespoke, high‑spec electronic and mechanical products. Working on complex assemblies from early prototypes through to delivered hardware, you'll help ensure every build meets our exacting standards for quality, accuracy and on‑time delivery.

What you'll do

Assemble and test intricate electronic and mechanical builds, working confidently from detailed drawings, build files and technical instructions.

Support new product introduction activities, interpreting early design packs and providing feedback to engineering.

Carry out precision wiring, soldering and loom‑forming to IPC Class 3 standards, including inspection and defect identification.

Verify components, sub‑assemblies and tooling, ensuring all work meets required tolerances and quality criteria.

Perform calibration checks on crimp tools, torque equipment and relevant shop‑floor instruments.

Maintain a safe, organised and compliant work area while contributing to continuous improvement across the team.

Assist wider operations as needed - including goods in, facilities support, stock handling and customer interaction.

What you'll need

Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance.

Strong practical experience in electronic and mechanical assembly, repair or modification.

Confident reading and understanding technical drawings, wiring schematics and work instructions.

Skilled with hand tools, test equipment and electronic components.

Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 and IPC‑A‑620 standards. xjnqpsq
