My father was receiving end of life care and although I had the support of Community nurses during the day , I needed professional help at night. And that’s what I received- compassionate, professional, reassuring, empathetic care. Not just for my father but also for me. I was able to get some much needed sleep as Vicky sat with dad all night. She was hands on from the moment she walked through the door, fully assessing the situation. She came equipped and was absolutely hands on. Sadly my father died during the second night and I was woken to spend those precious last moments with me. Even after death Vicky stayed to support me until after the undertakers came. The community nurse, who came to certify death, asked for the Village Nurses details as she often had families asking for help to enable their family members to stay at home. Five stars all round and HUGE thanks .

I would highly recommend The Village Nurse! During an incredibly stressful time and at very short notice, Vikky was invaluable in providing the support and reassurance we needed. She was professional, caring, and genuinely supportive throughout. I’m so grateful for her help!
