"The 2024 Norton Commando 961 SP is a hand-built, modern-classic roadster that prioritizes mechanical soul over digital aids, delivering a raw and visceral riding experience. Powered by a 961cc air-cooled parallel twin producing 76.8 bhp, it features high-spec hardware including fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes, and a hand-welded frame. Unlike the Café Racer version, the SP uses upright handlebars for a more comfortable, natural riding position while maintaining the brand's iconic "hourglass" silhouette and analogue charm. While it is heavier and more prone to vibration than many modern competitors, it is marketed as a piece of "mechanical art" for those who value British heritage and premium, hand-finished craftsmanship".
