Olympus OM-2n 35mm Film SLR Camera + Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 Lens – Tested Working

Description

Olympus OM-2n 35mm film SLR camera with original Olympus F.Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Lovely example of this classic Olympus film camera, in very good overall cosmetic condition for its age.

Camera condition and testing:

* Battery tested and operating correctly during testing.
* Shutter fires in both automatic and manual modes.
* In AUTO mode, shutter speeds respond to changing light conditions, becoming slower in darker environments and faster in brighter light.
* Viewfinder exposure meter responds correctly to changes in light.
* Battery check light working.
* Film advance and shutter release operating.
* Very good cosmetic condition overall, with minor age-related wear.

Lens:

Original Olympus F.Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f/1.8 lens in excellent visual condition. Glass appears exceptionally clean, with no obvious optical issues.

Points to note:

There is a small crack in the plastic housing of the removable flash hot shoe (Shoe 4), as photographed.

The rear light seals and mirror bumper foam would benefit from replacement due to age, which is common maintenance on vintage film cameras.

Although extensively battery tested, the camera has not been tested with a roll of film, so exposure accuracy and light-tightness have not been verified.

Overall, a very clean and promising example of the Olympus OM-2n, complete with its excellent original 50mm f/1.8 lens.
