Contax T3 titanium black
Hackney, London
£2,500
Description
Selling my Contax T3 in titanium black, double tooth version, fully boxed and with many extras included.
The camera is in a mint condition, film tested and perfectly working. I have shot around 20 films with it in the past 5 months. There are no light leaks and all the functions work perfectly - the meter is spot on, the focus is quick and always accurate, all apertures and shutter speeds work, flash/no flash mode works and the exposure compensation works. Happy to share some sample pictures, I used the camera last week April 2026).
The camera comes fully boxed with instruction manual and original warrany cerrtificate in Japanaese. I also include the original Contax leather case (user condition as shown in the last picture) a Contax filter adapter, a UV filter, a lens hood and the hood cap. All items in rare titanium black matching the color of the camera.
Some general information about this great camera: The Contax T3 is regarded by many photographers as the best premium point and shoot camera. In my opinion its three main selling points are: (1) the fantastic Sonnar 35mm f2.8 lens with its wonderful character (less contrast than the Sonnar 38mm f2.8 of the Contax T2), (2) the 1/1000s maximum shutter speed and (3) its compact size (the camera is incredibly tiny and very light - only 230g. It easily fits in a pocket and you can take it everywhere). The flash is great, too. Last detail worth mentioning: with the Contax T3 you can select aperture 2.8 and shoot full aperture portraits. This is not possible with the Contax T2 where the 2.8 aperture implies selecting the A mode. Hence, you have no control on the f2.8 aperture.
Collection preferred. I am based in London E5 and happy to meet up in East or Central London.
