Description
Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dCi – Good Condition – Honest Sale
Price: £3000 ono
Selling my daughter’s Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dCi. The car is in good condition overall and has been well looked after, but it does have a noise issue that I can’t diagnose.
The Issue:
There’s a whining/air-leak type noise when the engine is running. I’ve checked the turbo (no movement) and narrowed it down to two small air pipes – if disconnected, the noise stops until you rev it. Car drives fine with full power, but it has gone into limp mode once because of this, so I wouldn’t drive it far until fixed. Selling as my daughter no longer wants to use it with the issue unresolved.
Recent Work Done:
• New shocks & springs front and rear
• New front brake pads (new rear pads included, not yet fitted)
• Ball joints and arms replaced
• Full service recently done (all filters including pollen + glow plugs)
• Well maintained and never skimped on
The car still drives well and pulls as it should. Perfect for someone who knows their way around these engines or is happy to repair it.
