It’s likely that those reading this advert will know exactly what these cars are about, and why they are so popular in the JDM community - but if not, here is a summary.They are revered by those that enjoy motorsport, particularly in Asia, where drifting is a huge past time and a social event. The set up and balance of this car is described as ‘perfection’, and the rear wheel drive delivers a guaranteed fun driving experience, supported by huge turbo power. The 180SX has huge tuning potential, making it the first choice for competitive events and also for those who enjoy the status this model delivers, and others who want the fastest and best in town. It is a genuine ‘cult’ car. It is also the nearest family member to the infamous Nissan Skyline’s that command huge premiums, but deliver no more fun.Whilst usually modified and personalised, this example has not been and still has the original SR20DET engine with low mileage, appearing not to have been modified with only a few common minor exceptions. These include aftermarket coil over suspension, exhaust system, air filter, and exclusive expensive Rays 17"" wheels. Make no mistake, this is the rare Type R that had factory upgrades including suspension, brakes and a 200bhp power output - some 10% increase over the standard 180. It also has the original factory sunroof, the wonderful Type R spoiler and an aggressive body kit. Weight was also reduced; sports seats and a LSD also apply to the Type R model.The interior is near perfect, with the factory velour sports trim and seat decals still in top order. We addressed some minor fading to the paintwork in a few areas, which were carried out in our own paint shop, therefore the bodywork presents without faults. The service history and all manufacturers books from new accompany the car, and we can say that this has clearly been a well maintained vehicle. The grade from Japan was 4/b – very impressive.This is one of Japan’s most iconic motor cars, and there is a huge vibe for this car and 90’s Japanese sports cars. A VAT qualifying car that will be serviced prior to delivery, and a 6-month Autoguard national warranty is also included.

The buying team comprises seasoned motor industry professionals: our backgrounds span retail sales, fleet management, auction, wholesale, and service, inspection and maintenance. Having grown up with, driven and loved countless classics ourselves, we know what our customers look for: models and marques piquing current market interest; examples that are in excellent usable condition and order; and vehicles that represent a sound, good value investment.

An online portal search for any classic model will list several hundred vehicles across the UK. The unfortunate truth is that the vast majority, under scrutiny, will prove sub-standard, misrepresented or require uneconomic restoration or repair. Finding a good vehicle without motor trade experience is not for the faint-hearted.

We purchase our cars from private owners, collections and specialist auction houses. We are exceptionally selective about which vehicles we buy, when and why; we reject over 90% of all those we see. Those we purchase match varying customer demands: ‘best in market’ and fully original; fully or partially restored examples; and sound, practical, fun classics to be driven and enjoyed.

Warranty:
We want every customer to be confident in their purchase. Whilst we sell nationwide, many of our sales are local, with some customers revisiting to buy, sell or service more vehicles.

To ensure a worry-free motoring experience, we include our own pre-owned vehicle warranty and provide full servicing and support on-site.

The price of every car includes a six-month warranty for major component failure: engine, transmission, and final drive. For the first three months, it covers the cost of any essential parts and labour. Thereafter we provide a 50% discount on any essential parts and labour for the remaining three.

We also operate our own on-site workshop offering specialist classic vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. The same mechanics that inspected and prepared your vehicle for sale will be delighted to keep it in good working order throughout your ownership.
