Part-Time After-School Nanny – Hampstead/NW5 – 16 Hours per Week

We are a happy and affectionate family with three children aged 10, 10 and 9 — two daughters and one son — living in NW5, close to Hampstead Heath and Parliament Hill Lido. We are looking for a kind, dependable and nurturing after-school nanny who would enjoy becoming a valued and trusted part of our family’s weekly routine.

We believe a successful nanny relationship should be based on warmth, mutual respect, open communication and appreciation. We want the person joining us to feel welcomed, supported and genuinely valued.

The role is for 16 hours per week, from 3:20pm to ~7:20pm, Monday to Thursday, with an ASAP start.

All three children attend the same school in Hampstead Village. The nanny would collect them from school and bring them home on foot or by public transport, depending on the day. The afternoons would include taking them to local activities when required, helping with homework and school organisation, and supporting their early-evening routine.

Some simple dinner preparation for the children would be desirable, although the main focus of the role is their care, homework and activities.

We are looking for someone warm, calm, reliable and well organised, who genuinely enjoys spending time with older primary-school children and is confident caring for three children. Strong references and the right to work in the UK are essential. An enhanced DBS check and paediatric first-aid qualification would be highly desirable.
