TRENDnet TPL-408E & TPL-410AP WiFi Powerline 500AV2 Adapters

For spares or repairs. I bought these but can't get them working. The eBay seller said they were working but I'm not techie and simply can't get them to connect. Maybe it's just me or maybe they have a fault although strange that both aren't working. One of the boosters buzzes lightly, not sure if it's supposed to or not. These Wifi adapters overcome a slow internet and 'dead zones' around the house by expanding the network via the house's electrical circuit. The TPL 408E adapter is positioned near the router and connected via Ethernet cable (supplied). The two TPL-410AP boosters were placed in in weak signal areas, plugged directly into electrical outlets and operated wirelessly (2 Ethernet ports per unit can also be used, cables are not included) One of the 410 units is to EU spec. and is supplied with the appropriate electrical adaptor. Complete with original packaging, CDs and documentation. A very low cost alternative to the expensive mesh systems available today.
