Posting for 4+ yearsMobility Scooter. Sturdy and long range
Hove, East Sussex
£475
Description
Well cared for, top of the range Rascal Pioneer mobility scooter.
Up to 35 miles on full batteries.
Choice of 4mph or 8mph modes with variable speed in each of the modes.
The seat slides back and forth for comfort, tilts back, has an adjustable head rest and fold up arm rests too. The seat can even turn either side, should you wish to drive up to a table to eat or make getting in and out easier.
This can be driven on the road and therefore has brake lights, headlight, indicators, hazard flashers, horn and reversing beeps.
The large wheels/tyres and good suspension make it comfortable and able to cope with most terrains. The weight of the batteries keeps it stable, unlike lighter models with small wheels that can make you feel you are going to topple over!
Has just been serviced and is in really good condition with just a couple of scratches here and there. The batteries hold charge very well.
This also comes with a removable and lockable rear storage box, which is perfect for putting the weeks shopping in, as the little cage on the front is small and clearly not rain proof!
There is also a waterproof cover if you need to store the scooter outside.
My partner was using crutches, so I have attached 2 cable ties to the basket and the crutches sit in those and slide back on to the arm rests. I will remove these if you do not require them.
Collection from Hove BN3 preferred. I may be able to deliver within a reasonable distance, but please ask first so I can confirm if this is viable.
If you are collecting by car, the seat comes off and the steering folds down, but both batteries will need to be removed to lift it. This is straight forward and takes just a minute or two.
Any questions, please ask.
