This striking Evolution VI GSR is a purpose-built, track-focused machine that has been subject to a comprehensive performance transformation. Dry-stored and maintained regardless of cost, the vendor informs us it has covered just 1,500 miles since the bulk of the major upgrades were completed. These include a fully forged engine, Defi gauges with controller, and a host of high-performance components such as a Blitz fully adjustable coilover setup, Samco boost and coolant pipework, an HKS vent-to-atmosphere valve, and an Exedy twin-plate clutch kit. A replacement gearbox has also been fitted, while further enhancements include a welded-in Custom Cages multi-point roll cage, Recaro bucket seats with harnesses, roof vent, and carbon fibre roof. Stopping power is supplied by an AP Racing 330mm 6-pot brake kit, while performance is aided by 1000cc RC injectors, a Walbro 255 fuel pump, Spec R intercooler, 3-inch turbo-back mongoose exhaust, and an Evo 9 turbo in Stage 1.5 spec by Ross Sport.

Currently running at a reported 490bhp, this Evo has been regularly serviced by marque specialist CPP every 500 miles since its build. The car is also accompanied by a spare set of desirable Enkei wheels, included in the sale and to be collected by the buyer.

Introduced in 1999, the Evolution VI built on the success of the already formidable Evo lineage, with improvements in cooling, handling, and aerodynamics. The GSR model in particular became a favourite among tuners and rally fans alike, praised for its out-of-the-box potential and razor-sharp chassis dynamics.
