Large Vintage Chinese Wall Mirror
Bow, London
£220
Description
A very large Chinese style framed wall mirror.
It has a concaved top edge and angled sides so it is not rectangular.
The sections of the mirror have some floral designs where the light shines through from the back,as originally it was backlit. The old wiring and bulbs have been removed for safety and it has been photographed with a light behind to demonstrate. You could easily add some modern LED strip lighting if you need the mirror to light up. I have removed the back in one of the images so that you can see the construction inside.
The mirror is in nice condition with some foxing to the glass and a very small chip in the lower right corner not very noticeable at all.
There are two brackets on the back for hanging on the wall but it is very heavy so you will need some substantial hooks on the wall.
Dating from the late 20th century ca.
