We are delighted to be able to offer for sale this gorgeous piece of vintage interior design.
A Vintage ‘Regency’ Style Porthole Convex Glass Butlers Mirror with Gilt Gesso Frame,
Dating to around the 1930s / 1940s.
It has its original convex mirror set into a wide frame which has an Ebonised and reeded inner ring, contrasted against a deep gilt frame with ball shaped finials. The outer rim is finished with a subtle ‘knotted ribbon’ pattern.
This mirror comes directly from a recent estate clearance and is in excellent ready to hang preloved vintage condition.
Some minor age related surface scuffs & and dinks. Nothing too serious and presents really well. (please see pictures for more details ).
Overall all in good order & ready to use.
A fabulous addition to a classic or eclectics interior design scheme.
