MG, ZR, Hatchback, 2004, Manual, 1796 (cc), 3 doors

Here is my MG ZR that I bought the other month with the intention of restoring back to original spec and condition. The car has only 2 pervious owner, is sat on 134k miles and has MOT til January 2026. The good points are it drives really well in terms of suspension and steering. The engine pulls well. The gearbox works fine but it could do with a new linkage as this one has a lot of play in it. The timing belt, water and head gasket have just been done along with a new thermostat, radiator and anti freeze. Also had new plugs, fuel filter and crank sensor. It has 4 matching tyres and I good condition and new rear discs and pads. Bad points are the corrosion on the body work. The head lining, the no standard exhaust and air filter (some people my like them) I think there is a warped front disc that will want replacing. It also has an intermittent hot start problem. It always starts just not as sweet as when it's cold. I would like to finish this car but I have a lot more things to pay for so I need to more it on. Any questions just ask.
