Description

For Sale, an opportunity to purchase one of the last MGB LE roadster's made. Only 420 were made this one is number 217 and has its original manufacture plate on the dashboard. Roadsters were given special distinguishing livery of Bronze Metallic, Side LE Decals and Stag type alloy wheels. The seats have been recovered in black vinyl, the orange/brown (Deck Chair Style) material unfortunately no longer available. It has an after market steering wheel (Astra) fitted, the original being available to the next owner. Each LE was offered with anti-corrosion injection process that has preserved the excellent underside, wings and doors. As part of this vehicles recommissioning the door aperture plugs wing panels and underside were treated, again, to underseal injection process. A complete list of new parts fitted which includes a large bore stainless exhaust system, radiator etc and a tubular manifold system. All parts replaced during the re-commissioning are available to prospective buyers. The engine, transmission functions perfectly, the brakes, (Replaced) steering are also fully serviceable. Past history is sparce but it's believed it has been stored for a considerable time as part of a private collection? present mileage is 2674 miles. NB, not verified.
