This lot will be auctioned via Hampson Auctioneers, The Hampson Auctions Sale at Oulton Park on Sunday 27th July from 12noon, Little Budworth, Tarporley, CW6 9BW.
A well-presented and well-sorted example of Britain’s beloved roadster, this 1976 MGB is described by the vendor as a real pleasure to drive and has been cherished throughout the current ownership. Displaying an unwarranted but highly credible 37,098 miles, the car benefits from the desirable overdrive gearbox and a number of sensible upgrades that enhance both performance and reliability.
Recent work has included the fitment of a new clutch, master and slave cylinders, as well as a brand-new oil cooler with new pipework to and from the engine. The vendor also informs us the engine has been fully rebuilt, with improved breathing thanks to twin K&N air filters. Further enhancing its usability and appeal, the MGB features a brand-new hood, stylish Mini Lite-style wheels, and Lucas fog lamps, giving it a classic, sporting stance.
Finished in red with contrasting black interior, this chrome-bumpered example offers excellent value and usability, and would be equally at home on the open road or as part of a summer show circuit.
