Classic TF in fantastic condition having been totally rebuilt at a cost of over £35,000 .comprising body off and new ash frame. re skinned. Chassis blasted rustproofed and repainted. suspension rebuilt with new parts as needed. Body returned to chassis and re-trimmed in red leather. Brightwork re-chromed where necessary. new windscreen installed. Brand new quality hood and side screens in heavy duty canvas material and matching tonneau cover. Wheels restored to new condition with five period correct Michellan tyres. Engine rebuilt with all new bearings, rebore and pistons. Head machined and hardened valve seats for unleaded petrol. Rear crankshaft oil seal upgraded. Large folder of history and bills from previous owner, with a doctorate, who owned the car for nearly 60 years. Additions to the car include a heater and wing mirrors. Insurance agreed valuation was £28,000 last year but now £25,000 reflecting changes in the classic market. this car with the larger 1500 engine has to be one of the best available.
