A FILA brand Argentina national team commemorative jersey signed by Diego Maradona from a testimonial match given in his honor on November 10, 2001. Played at La Bombonera, and more than 50,000 people attended to watch Maradona and the Argentina national team play together for the last time against an all-star World XI. Maradona led Argentina to a 6-3 victory behind his two goals. The upper front of the jersey features Maradona’s number 10 and a photo of him running with a football. To the right of the photo, he signed his name and jersey number in black marker. In the center of the jersey, Maradona signed “Con Carino” in Spanish, meaning “with love,” and his name and number in black marker. On the back of the jersey within the 0 of his number 10, Maradona signed his name and number in white marker. On the lower back, it says “Homenaje A Diego Maradona” in Spanish, meaning “tribute to Diego Maradona.”
