Description
A beautifully detailed Russian Orthodox crucifix pendant in silver, finished with graceful trefoil ends on every arm. The front shows the crucified figure of Christ in fine relief, with the traditional IC XC inscription on either side of the crossbar. The textured background and darkened recesses give the design wonderful depth.
The reverse carries the traditional Russian Orthodox prayer inscription "Спаси и сохрани", meaning "Save and Protect", above delicate engraved scrollwork running down the length of the cross.
A small, elegant cross that sits nicely on a fine chain and carries a quiet, timeless meaning of faith and protection.
