Superb Vintage Gent's full-length Wool & Cashmere Raglan Overcoat by The Scotch House, Size 50

Description

This vintage full-length overcoat from The Scotch House features a classic raglan design with a timeless silhouette. Crafted in Britain from a heavyweight, army-style dark green wool blend, it is made with high-quality materials: 70% wool, 15% cashmere, and 15% polyamide. The Scotch House is a subsidiary of Burberry.

The overcoat is in EXCELLENT condition for a vintage coat, UK size 50. It is generously tailored to accommodate a suit jacket underneath, typically measuring 10 to 15 cm (4 to 6 inches) larger than standard sizing. It will comfortably fit someone who wears a size 46 or 48, but please refer to the measurements below.

This classic Raglan single-breasted design includes four concealed horn buttons, a fly front, raglan shoulders, and a stand collar. It is complemented by large horn-buttoned side pockets, an inside pocket, a center vent, a removable belt with a leather buckle, and a luxurious gold satin lining. The overall length is 148 cm.

Please note: the reverse side of the buckle is stained (see picture 17), though this is not noticeable when worn. The coat can be worn with or without the belt.

All measurements are taken with the coat buttoned, laid flat, and unstretched. They are recorded as accurately as possible, but should be considered approximate. Please compare them to a similar garment you already own.
