Antique (Victorian) Spectroscope by John Browning, signed by the prism 'John Browning, 63 Strand, London'. Brass circumference scale divided 0-110 with vernier and magnifier; 13in. lacquered and oxidised brass observation tube with rack-and-pinion fine focus, lacquered and oxidised brass secondary tube; mounted on tapering lacquered and oxidised brass pillar with painted iron stand.
