Job Description:
They are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified MOT tester or technician to join the team. The successful applicant will be welcomed to join a strong team and a great dealer group.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager and working with colleagues and other teams across the site to provide a high standard of customer service. As MOT tester you will play a vital role in delivery customer satisfaction and helping keep their vehicles and our roads safer
Key Duties:
MOT Testing/Vehicle technician
Complete MOT tests on all makes of passenger and light commercial goods vehicles Perform MOT tests to required standards and regulations Maintain appropriate records Keep up to date with required training Repairs and servicing on all makes of vehicles Diagnostic repairs Daily duties
Provides accurate assessments and reports on the MOT test Schedules work to meet customer requirements Notifies aftersales team of any defective items Produces job card, detailing any special requirements and distributes to the workshop briefing technicians where appropriate Assists with vehicle delivery/collection where needed Co-ordinates MOT test with other servicing requirements to ensure efficiency Assesses and records appropriate information Updates customer database to maintain accurate records Works as a full member of the team
Works with colleagues and other teams across the site to provide a seamless service to customers Ensures opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist Be willing to get stuck in and help the team when needed
