Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent - 40 Hour Weeks, Plus Overtime Available.

Salary: Competitive Salary – Depending on Experience.

Location: Bishop Auckland DL14.

About The Company:

From the humblest of beginnings, this growing company evolved by 1994 to a situation whereby a personally designed purpose-built garage was constructed to house a workshop staffed by highly trained HGV mechanics and Recovery Operator personnel with a diverse and wide-ranging wealth of experience.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced and skilled HGV Mechanic / Technician to join their team.

Key Duties:

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs for customer vehicles and our own vehicles to Mot Standard Diagnose faults and carry out inspections to identify issues. Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance Carry out brake, suspension, steering and general mechanical repairs Identify faults and complete repairs efficiently Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with safety requirements Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used. Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality. Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence (Class 1 would be an advantage) Company Benefits:
