Description
Preston Autofix Garage is looking for an experienced Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our workshop in Preston.
The successful candidate must be confident in carrying out a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance work, including diagnostics, servicing, engine repairs, suspension work, brakes, clutches and general vehicle repairs.
Key responsibilities include:
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to a high standard
Suspension, braking and general mechanical jobs
Inspecting vehicles and identifying any additional faults or repair requirements
Working efficiently in a busy workshop environment
We are looking for someone who:
Has solid hands-on experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician
Can diagnose faults confidently and carry out repairs properly
Is reliable, hardworking and able to maintain a high standard of workmanship
Can work well independently and as part of a team
This is a full-time position based in Preston. Immediate start available for the right candidate.
