Description

First of all, a bit about me:
I’m Matthew, a father, musician, and mathematician.
I live in the countryside with my family, including my wife, my son, four dogs, and four cats, and spend much of my day teaching my son about the world through the nature around us. This consists of river walks, climbing tree,s and building dens - all the classic things you get up to with a four-year-old!
In my free time, I find myself playing piano and teaching my son the basics. I perform regularly at a poetry night, hosted by my partner and me.
My greatest passions in life would be Music and Maths, and of course, teaching! I love the crossover of Maths and Music, and studying the relationship between the two!
I have 6 years of experience teaching GCSE subjects to students across the globe, covering multiple exam boards and teaching at foundation and higher tier levels, young learners, and exam takers. I also tutor AS level Mathematics. When taking on a new student, I aim to find their strengths, build their confidence, whilst working on the areas that they have the least confidence in, filling in the gaps.
I may take on a student for a long period of time, and be their primary maths teacher, or some students may just want to brush up on some areas of Maths before an exam, really anything is possible!
Prices vary from £25 to £35 depending on the time, frequency of lessons, and the number of students in a lesson!
