Ecommerce Lead

We’re recruiting for an established and growing eCommerce business looking for a hands-on eCommerce Lead to take ownership of its digital customer experience, design and content.

This is a broad, commercially focused role covering UX, UI, content, email and digital creative. The website and brand are already in a strong position, but there’s plenty of scope to improve, introduce new ideas and shape how the digital function develops.

You’ll report to the Head of Ecommerce, work closely with Ecommerce, Product and Commercial teams, and mentor a Design & Content Apprentice.

The role

* Improving website UX, design and conversion across key customer journeys.

* Creating digital designs and prototypes using Figma.

* Using GA4, Clarity and testing tools to understand customer behaviour and improve performance.

* Creating website content, commercial copy and longer-form content.

* Designing email campaigns and reusable templates.

* Producing creative for social, paid media and wider digital channels.

* Developing a consistent design system across Figma and Canva.

* Keeping creative and content commercially focused and on brand.

* Mentoring and supporting a junior team member.

You’ll ideally have:

* Strong eCommerce and digital design experience.

* UX/UI experience with a portfolio demonstrating commercial results.

* Figma experience and ideally exposure to Magento 2 or another enterprise eCommerce platform.

* Strong copywriting and content experience.

* Email marketing/design experience.

* An understanding of analytics, CRO and customer behaviour.

* The ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

* Experience mentoring or developing junior colleagues.

Experience with Canva, HTML/CSS, SEO, A/B testing, video or photography would be a bonus.
