This is an inspiring opportunity for a technically skilled, creatively driven designer with product/development design experience to join our bold and innovative organisation.

You’ll be at the heart of transforming imaginative concepts into tangible masterpieces, working on projects that not only wow in the moment but leave a lasting impression on retail spaces nationwide.

Along the way, you’ll sharpen your creative edge, collaborate with brilliant minds, and enjoy the buzz of seeing your designs leap off the screen and into the real world, all while helping brands connect with their audiences in unforgettable ways.

So, if you’ve been looking for a role where your creativity won’t just be encouraged but celebrated, this is your cue – apply now!

The Role

As a Development Designer, you’ll be the bridge between bold ideas and beautifully built reality creating technical and 3D designs.

You’ll take retail display and point-of-sale concepts and transform them into fully-fledged, ready-to-manufacture solutions. Your work will fuse technical know-how with creative flair, producing designs that not only look fantastic but also stand the test of practical production.

Working from concept through to completion, you’ll sketch ideas, build detailed SolidWorks models, and produce technical drawings that bring precision to every curve, angle, and finish.

Alongside the technical, you’ll flex your creative muscles using 3ds Max to create high-quality visualisations that wow clients and inspire teams.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage several projects at once, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines

- Liaise with suppliers to ensure drawings and specifications are accurate and manufacturable

- Standardise materials and processes where possible to reduce costs

- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners to align vision and execution

About You

To be considered as a Development Designer, you will need:

- A minimum of two years’ experience in a product and/or development design role

- A minimum of two years’ experience in a POS design and manufacturing company, working in a similar role

- Fluency in SolidWorks

- An understanding of current manufacturing techniques in plastics and sheet metal fabrication, injection moulding, joinery, etc.

- A great eye for detail

- To be educated to degree level in product, industrial, engineering, 3D design or a related field

Other organisations may call this role Creative Designer, POS Designer, Graphic Designer, Product Designer, Digital 3D Designer, or Design Technologist.
