Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Outdoor Yardman with counterbalance forklift experience to support daily yard operations. The role involves handling materials, maintaining an organised and safe yard, and assisting with loading and unloading goods.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently

*

Load and unload deliveries and customer collections

*

Move, stack, and store materials in designated yard areas

*

Carry out daily forklift checks and report defects

*

Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety of the yard

*

Assist with stock control and basic inventory checks

*

Follow all health & safety procedures at all times

*

Support warehouse or operations staff as required

*

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Requirements

*

Valid counterbalance forklift licence (in-date)

*

Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment

*

Good awareness of health & safety practices

*

Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks

*

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

*

Good communication xjnqpsq and teamwork skills

Desirable Skills

*

Experience working in an outdoor or construction-related yard

*

Basic knowledge of stock systems or paperwork

*

Additional forklift or plant licences

Working Conditions
