The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC XYZ Machinist to join a well–established precision engineering company in Bristol supplying high–precision components to industries including aerospace, defence, energy and rail.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable engineering business producing precision gear and transmission components to tight tolerances.

The Role as a XYZ Machinist

Set up, program and operate CNC XYZ machining centres

Manufacture precision components including gears, shafts and splines

Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications

Machine parts to tight tolerances and high quality standards

Carry out in–process inspection using precision measuring equipment

About You

Essential Experience as a XYZ Machinist:

Experience as a CNC Machinist or XYZ Machinist

Strong ability to read engineering drawings

Experience with milling and turning operations

Background in precision engineering or manufacturing

Experience working to tight tolerances
