Description

Job Title: Wiring & Mechanical Assembly

Location: Poole

Contract Details: Temporary, 4 months (potential to be extended but location or role will be moving to Bournemouth in the new year)

Salary: 12.70ph

Shift pattern – Can start between 6:30 and 9:30 and finish between 15:30 and 18:30 with the option of finishing at 12:30 on Friday assuming you have worked their 37.5 hours.

As a Wiring & Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will:

Assemble wiring harnesses with precision and careCollaborate with the engineering team to ensure quality controlInterpret technical drawings and schematicsConduct testing and troubleshooting of assembled componentsMaintain a clean and organised workspaceEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Experience in wiring and mechanical assemblyAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsStrong attention to detail and problem–solving skillsBasic knowledge of electrical components and toolsGood communication skills and ability to work in a teamDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of ISO standardsCertification in electrical or mechanical assemblyFamiliarity with industry–specific tools and technologiesTechnologies:

Hand tools and power toolsWiring and assembly equipmentTesting and measuring instrumentsComputer software for technical documentationHow to apply:
