Description

Job Title: Wet Paint Sprayer

Location: Leicestershire, LE9

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 4:30pm and Friday, 7:30am – 1:30pm (40 hours per week) or part time (25.5 – 36 hours per week)

Pay: 14.30 per hour

The Company:

A long–established engineering and fabrication business is seeking an experienced Wet Paint Sprayer to join their team. The company works on a wide range of high–quality manufactured steel products and offers long–term stability and a supportive working environment.

The Wet Paint Sprayer Role:

The Wet Paint Sprayer will prepare, prime, and apply paint finishes to fabricated steel components. You will work to high quality standards and ensure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare steel components for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking, priming)Apply wet paintMix, match, and apply paint to required specificationsInspect finished items to ensure quality and consistencyPerform touch–ups or rework as neededOperate a counterbalance forklift (in–house licence accepted)Operate overhead cranes (desirable, training can be provided)Maintain spraying equipment and ensure proper material storageFollow all health & safety procedures and use correct PPESupport general shopfloor duties when required

About You:

Essential:

Previous experience as a Wet Paint Sprayer in an industrial or engineering environmentStrong ability to prep and paint steel componentsCounterbalance forklift experienceHigh attention to detail and strong quality focusUnderstanding of health & safety practicesDesirable:

Overhead crane operating experience (training available)Experience in fabrication or structural steelwork environments
