Textile Operative – Weaver

Location: Leeds

Pay: Up to £13.83 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shifts: Rotating days/evenings

We are recruiting an experienced Textile Operative – Weaver to join an established and prestigious textile manufacturer in Leeds.

The company has a rich history in British textile manufacturing, producing high-quality fabrics for leading luxury brands, film and television productions, and ceremonial and military use.

Previous weaving experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate and monitor weaving machinery

* Check cloth quality and identify yarn defects

* Maximise machine efficiency and minimise faults

* Tie weaving knots to the required standard

* Safely handle finished cloth and materials

* Maintain a clean and safe working area

* Follow production, quality and health & safety procedures

About You

* Previous weaving experience

* Good attention to detail

* Practical and reliable approach

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* Good communication skills

* Strong focus on quality and safety

Shift Pattern

Week 1: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm

Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 2:00pm–12:00 midnight
