HOURS: Monday – Friday 07:00 – 15:00

SALARY: GBP13.66 p/hr plus benefits

We are currently looking for a Process Water Technician to join our Extrusion team supporting both our Clover Nook and Birchwood site in Somercotes, Alfreton to help maintain the efficient operation of our process water systems.

As a Process Water Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our extrusion operations by ensuring process water systems remain safe, efficient, and fully operational. Your work will help maintain product quality, minimise downtime, and support continuous production across our manufacturing sites.

WHAT OUR WATER OPERATIVES DO:

Maintain process water systems across both Eurocell sites, Clover Nook and BirchwoodReplace and clean filtration equipment to ensure optimal system performanceMonitor stock levels and maintain inventories of chemicals, PPE, and process water equipmentCheck, replace, and dose chemical systems as requiredCarry out tank bleed–off activities and routine process water maintenanceInspect, clean, and maintain downstream equipment within extrusion hallsSafely dispose of waste generated from process water and chiller systemsWork closely with production teams to support cleaning and maintenance activitiesMonitor system performance and promptly report any issues or incidentsAssist the maintenance department with additional operational and ad hoc tasks as required

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR WATER OPERATIVE:

Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or maintenance environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to health, safety, and quality standardsGood communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departmentsA proactive approach to maintenance, problem–solving, and continuous improvementAbility to manage multiple tasks and work independently when required
