Salary: £15.09ph plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 per week - Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.15pm and a 3pm finish on a Friday

Location: Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria, LA14 1AF

What will you be doing?

Operating a Linde/Hyster owned fork lift truck and a tail lift vehicle

Collecting waste in a variety of containers from different areas of the site and processing the waste

Operating hazardous dry waste in drum compactor

Completing daily check sheets and relevant defect sheets

Assisting with the loading and unloading of waste vehicles

Segregating and sorting waste streams in the waste yard and storage facility prior to disposal

Collecting, storing and processing, non routine waste

Assisting with waste yard duties

Escorting contractors around site

What are we looking for?

Similar operational manual handling background

Full UK driving licence

Desirable - training will be provided

Forklift truck licence

In Drum Compactor Training

A basic knowledge of Health and Safety Law inc. COSHH

This position is subject to satisfactory enhanced security clearance
