Warehouse Team Leader

Description

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join our client based in Crick. You will be responsible for leading a small team and ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations, including goods-in, stock management, order picking and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and support the AM warehouse team to achieve daily targets

* Organise workloads and allocate tasks effectively

* Monitor performance, quality, and safety standards

* Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

* Communicate with management and other departments to ensure smooth operations

* Cover the Warehouse Manager’s duties during periods of annual leave (with £20 per day cover payment)

Skills and Experience Required

* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (leadership experience preferred)

* Valid FLT Counterbalance licence

* PPT experience or licence desirable

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Ability to work under pressure and lead by example

What We Offer

* Competitive hourly rate with additional pay for holiday cover

Location: Crick, NN6

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm

Pay: £13.55 per hour (£26,422.50 per year)

Additional Pay: £20 per day when covering the Manager’s annual leave
